These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Scottsdale Asphalt Co. website and set out the general basis on which we provide estimates and asphalt services. By using this website you agree to these Terms. Any work we perform is governed by a separate written contract, which prevails over these general Terms for that job.
Scottsdale Asphalt Co. is a licensed asphalt paving contractor (AZ ROC #123456) serving Scottsdale and greater Phoenix.
Estimates are based on the information available and, where possible, a site visit. An estimate is valid for the period stated and is not binding until confirmed in a written contract signed by both parties. Site conditions discovered once work begins (for example, poor sub-base or drainage issues) may affect scope and price and are handled as written change orders.
Asphalt work depends on weather and temperature. We may reschedule paving or sealcoating for rain, extreme heat or other conditions that would compromise quality; we'll keep you informed. Scheduled dates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees.
Payment terms, including any deposit and final payment, are set out in your contract. Invoices are due by the date stated; late payment may incur interest and reasonable collection costs as permitted by law.
Our workmanship is warranted as stated in your contract. Warranty does not cover normal wear, damage from misuse, heavy or improper loads, settlement of ground outside our scope, acts of nature, or lack of recommended maintenance such as sealcoating. Asphalt naturally lightens, and minor hairline cracking can occur as it cures — this is normal and not a defect.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from website use is excluded; liability for paving work is governed by your contract and applicable Arizona law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. We may update these Terms; the version in force when you engage us applies.
